2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

With four doors and premium seating capacity, the off-roading specialist 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is long, durable, and ready take on any terrain.

The 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited keeps thing simple when it comes to what lies underneath the hood. A 202-horsepower, 3.8-liter V-6 pumps out 237 pounds-feet of torque and is mated to a four-speed automatic. The Wrangler Unlimited comes with standard two-wheel drive, but if you need part-time or full-time four-wheel drive—you got it. Because the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is an off-roading vehicle, expect suspension and towing capabilities to be dynamic. And with five different trims to choose from, you can dictate how rugged or how comfortable you want to be

Those models include the 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport, Sahara, Islander, Mountain, and Rubicon. The Sport and Sahara models boast a low-high transfer case, Dana front and rear solid axles, and an available limited slip rear differential. Electric front- and rear-axle lockers are featured on the heavy-duty Rubicon. Underbody skid plates and an available tow package round out the rugged features on the 2011 Wrangler Unlimited.

Not known for being a vehicle you want for the daily commute to the office, the 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited receives 16 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway and competes with other off-roading specialists, like the Toyota FJ Cruiser and Nissan Xterra.

A three-panel Sunrider hardtop is optional and can be removed in sections and is body-colored on Sahara models (new for 2011). The exterior is extremely versatile with a standard soft-top, removable side metal doors, and foldable windshield. The 2011 Jeep Wrangler rests on top of standard 16-inch steel wheels, while 17- and 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels are optional.

The Unlimited features more interior space than the regular Wrangler so you can fit more cargo inside along with your buddies. The interior has been refreshed for 2011 with a redesigned instrument cluster and center stack, which places the controls towards the top of the dash. The steering wheel can now control the radio and cruise control, while a six-speaker sound system with CD player comes standard, and an Infinity audio system and Sirius Satellite Radio are optional. Two-tone leather is available on the Sahara and Rubicon models. In case you get lost out there, an optional navigation system will steer you home. A new USB interface can accommodate thumb drives and MP3 players, while Bluetooth® streaming audio and an optional 110-volt outlet are also new and add versatility.

When it comes to safety, the 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has you covered. Front airbags, optional side-impact airbags, all-speed traction control, electronic stability control with rollover mitigation, antilock braking system with on- and off-road calibrations, brake assist, and a smart key that immobilizes the engine in case of theft all come standard.

The 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has enough room to fit your friends and your gear, and can get you anywhere no matter the conditions.
